DUTCH INSPIRED GARDEN
BLEWBURY
The garden we created here completely transformed a dull, bland space and gave the client’s home its very own setting. The red brick of the architecture reminded us of Dutch buildings, so we drew on this as inspiration, using clay pitchers and limestone pavers, clean lines and cloud clipped evergreens.
The central courtyard, previously a dilapidated parking area, is now a verdant focal point for the whole house. With multi-stem specimen trees adding scale and privacy. Ambient lighting accentuates these in the evenings.
The garden begins at the gate and winds its gently curving way via the central courtyard to the back garden where it opens out into a meadow edged, sculpted lawn.
We worked closely with award winning Simply Green Landscapes and Deepdale Trees during the implementation.
This project was created for Sarah Naybour Design Ltd by Olivia Stewart and Sarah Naybour. It was awarded four Gold Medals at the 2024 APL Awards, for design and construction.

TESTAMONIAL
“The prospect of having my garden landscaped was daunting but from the outset I was totally reassured I had found the right company for my project.
I now spend a considerable amount of time in my garden and it quite literally feels like I have moved home. It’s a natural haven and is a daily feast for the eyes.
Sarah & Olivia did an absolutely first-class job of transforming my property. I could not have asked for better. The quality and attention to detail is simply superb.”
